Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Much better approach there for Cano. Wah wah I know, but announcers should be fined for **** like that.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Why this wasn't the strategy in game 1 we'll never know...I will never understand why Baldelli was managing like it was the regular season in the tone-setting game in the first round of the postseason.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 What the **** did we ever do to the baseball gods?
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Can't buy a run. Sad, really...
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 This is the least fun I've ever had watching baseball.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 If Marwin choked up any more on his bat, he'd be close to holding a 20" bat.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 What the **** did we ever do to the baseball gods?If you ask some, ‘87 never should have happened. Maybe it’s a make up

twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Good thing Dick was around for Marwin's fly ball, he'd of had a stroke.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 This is probably just my general dislike for the Yankees talking, but Aaron Judge looks like the villain in whatever Van Damme future apocalypse movie it was where every male character's only line was "AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!"
glunn Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Three more innings. Need to keep the the Yankees from scoring any more.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Garver fans again on a 3-2 pitch (wish someone would tell us how many times that has happened this series) but then both Sano and Gonzo put good wood on the ball.....and come up empty. amid the gloom of this series....my hat goes off to Arraez....he has really stepped up and I didn't think he could. He is truly amazing. 9 more outs is all we get. Our homeruns have disappeared completely. But worse, so has that clutch single up the middle with RISP...totally gone.
Bandit34 Provisional Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 If you ask some, ‘87 never should have happened. Maybe it’s a make upThis is quite the makeup. WOW! Overkill much?
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 If you ask some, ‘87 never should have happened. Maybe it’s a make upDude, that debt was paid somewhere around the time Phil Cuzzi stared down a ball three feet fair and called it foul.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Three more innings and then this torture will be over my friends.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Garver, Kepler, and Sano have looked like complete crap this series
wickedslider Provisional Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Yankee starting pitchers aren't "all that" compared to Houston or Washington. They've basically outslugged their slightly above average rotation just as the Twins did. However, the Yankees pitchers don't issue many walks and the Yankees play better team defense than the Twins.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 If you ask some, ‘87 never should have happened. Maybe it’s a make up But they game us '91 first, then decided to **** us?
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Next inning is probably the best chance to score a couple runs. Gotta think Cruz is going to do something.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 When the announcers say only Judge can make that play... They're probably right.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 I’m still not going to believe in this curse nonsense until one of these defensive BS plays happens with two outs in the bottom of the final inning and the go ahead run on base. I mean until that happens a second time this year.
