This is probably just my general dislike for the Yankees talking, but Aaron Judge looks like the villain in whatever Van Damme future apocalypse movie it was where every male character's only line was "AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!"

Garver fans again on a 3-2 pitch (wish someone would tell us how many times that has happened this series) but then both Sano and Gonzo put good wood on the ball.....and come up empty.

 

amid the gloom of this series....my hat goes off to Arraez....he has really stepped up and I didn't think he could. He is truly amazing.

 

9 more outs is all we get. Our homeruns have disappeared completely. But worse, so has that clutch single up the middle with RISP...totally gone.

Yankee starting pitchers aren't "all that" compared to Houston or Washington. They've basically outslugged their slightly above average rotation just as the Twins did. However, the Yankees pitchers don't issue many walks and the Yankees play better team defense than the Twins.

I’m still not going to believe in this curse nonsense until one of these defensive BS plays happens with two outs in the bottom of the final inning and the go ahead run on base.

 

I mean until that happens a second time this year.

Arraez has looked particularly good tonight but I will die on the hill that he should not have started game one.
