Gibby about to walk in a run here....

[Vanimal46]

Garver having an unappreciated inning here blocking all of this junk in the dirt.

[howeda7]

I believe he goes by "Kyle."

I prefer his future nick-name "former Twin"

[scottz]

Might be interesting to see how Costas would work in compliments for the Yankees!

The paint being used by the Yankees has been used more than any other paint in history. The Twins paint has also been used, of course. But the Yankee paint, is far and away, objectively, the better paint.

[ashbury]

I come here in peace and I am not staying because I think it is an intrusion for a rival fan to stick around the other team's forum.  I'ver never enjoyed it.  But I just want to say that you have an incredible team this year and huge credit to Rocco Baldelli and your whole team.  Of course I want the Yanks to win but this is not going to be a cake walk for us.  But this is what postseason baseball should be.  Congrats on a great season.  Obviously your Twins are not going away.

Moderator's Note: Welcome, sort of. This is indeed a moderated web site, and your instinct to not initiate any real banter is probably for the best. Thanks for the kind words.

[Don Walcott]

Ouch.

[Aggies7]

Blown out.

[howeda7]

Congrats Gibby. You get to finish this game. I don't care if it takes you 200 pitches.

[Vanimal46]

Alright... On to the next one.

[operation mindcrime]

Walks haunt!

[Jham]

finally throws the high fastball and gets a swinging strike then right back to the hanging slider

[mickeymental]

shoulda walked him.

[David HK]

Well, following the Twins/Yanks script so far.

Tomorrow is another day.

How about we improv for a change?

[wsnydes]

Gibby about to walk in a run here....

That actually would have been preferred.

[MNT1996]

And we'll see ya tomorrow night

[LVTwinsfan]

Gibson’s back

[IndyTwinsFan]

OK. I've seen as much of this as I care to.

That's what happens when Gibby tries to throw strikes.

[Bomba2026]

Rocco!! WtF take him out. I'd rather have the Turtle on the team!

[twinsnorth49]

Lol, Gibson is just useless. 2-2, need to throw your best pitch and he hangs a breaking pitch right over the middle of the plate to their leadoff hitter.

Terrible.

[glunn]

I admire Gibson for pitching through adversity this year. I think that he is literally pitching his guts out tonight. Sadly, his stuff is just not as good as it used to be.

[Don Walcott]

Squirrel? . . . Squirrel?

[insagt1]

unhappily we are seeing the folly of adding Gibson to the post season roster. He';s got nothing left and the Yankees are making him look worse.

What a total disaster. Again. These games are simply painful to watch. I said earlier this week the pitchers have to throw strikes. Apparently they are afraid to. This is what happens...when you are forced to throw on and its right down mainstreet.

Don't judge!

[Blake]

One of those games where the Twins are consistently getting the second strike but not putting away the hitter.

Gibby about to walk in a run here....

We should have been so lucky.

[D. Hocking]

Gibby about to walk in a run here....

That would have been preferable. I might not make it to the end of the game which will probably be about 2 hours.

[TwinVike61]

It's easy to second guess but a Game 1 win requires your best bullpen arms.

[rukavina]

Too many good at-bats by the Yankees.  Don't swing outside the zone, and punish stuff in the middle.
