Playoff Game Thread: Twins @ New York 6:07 PM CDT 10/4/2019

[twinsnorth49]

Just kept his hands back and put it in play, beauty AB.

Ok, the hanger might have helped a bit.

[mrtwinsfan]

Polanco is not intimidated by the Yankees.

No one is,  ask ROCCO

[MN_ExPat]

Nice job Jorge

[Pius Jefferson]

Yankee fans don't care about the Mets.

[howeda7]

I guess Berrios is coming out? Not sure about that.

[AlwaysinModeration]

They just showed the slow-mo replay of the Polanco single. The bat didn’t vibrate a single bit. Could not have hit it more square.

[wsnydes]

Does he buy his wine at Total Beer?

I'm sure he would if he could.

[diehardtwinsfan]

What's wrong with this picture?

[mrtwinsfan]

Gad, living and dying with every pitch this game.

Wow.

IS THE RADIO IN SYNC,  ??

[bighat]

"It's a moot point"

No it isn't. Polanco wouldn't be at second if he played that clean. Great at bat

I think he's at first still?

[Blake]

Paxton has been spot on with his control, which is why the Twins have been stifled.

And the announcers for this game must be collecting checks from the Yankees.

[MNT1996]

I'm sick of these biased announcers. I miss Dick and Smalley.

Wow.

Playoff baseball baby!

Missed it!

[Vanimal46]

He cruised through last inning. I'm comfy with him going 100 pitches if it's like his last 12 pitches.

Get used to it... it has always been that way.

[Blake]

Yeah, it's been on the endangered species list in Twins Territory.

Yeah. I don't agree with Rocco on this one.

[tvagle]

Ottavino may be able to Strike Out Babe Ruth but what about Nelson Cruz?

[S.]

I think he's at first still?

You would be absolutely correct in your thinking. But now he is on second. I was just predicting the future.

[Richie the Rally Goat]

Hip hip!

The announcers and umps share a bonus pool.

No one is at First! Now

[diehardtwinsfan]

I thought the Twins never ran...

[twinsnorth49]

C'mon Nellie, just a litte knock

[wsnydes]

A stolen base?! Is that allowed in 2019??

[MN_ExPat]

Not sure who is more irritating, The Oracle or the Greatest Pitcher Alive??

edit: apparently I'm blind. I thought he was on second looking up from my computer.

Now he's at 2nd!

[MNT1996]

Twins just were saving all their SBs for the playoffs

[Riverbrian]

Great idea to play possum with the stolen base all year... just to unleash it in the playoffs.

Brilliant.
