Well, I skirted the MLB network issues I had at home in Minneapolis and flew into Dallas, TX about an hour ago. Already sitting at a bar in Grapevine patiently waiting for the game to start. I need to pace the drinks...hopefully there are other Twins fans here. If Yankee fans show up it might turn into a bar fight!

Marney Gellner turned 46 today.... Back in 2003, the first time in the modern era (maybe ever?) the twins faced the Yankees she was 30.

 

Also... The twins are 2-13 against the Yankees in playoff baseball in that time.

My project at work today? Proofreading music. Something that takes focused effort. Between what's coming in a few hours and the extra shot I had in my latte, I'll just be lucky I don't have an ulcer by the time I go to bed tonight. And then there ....

If Berrios steps up and becomes an Ace. The Twins will win this series. Last time the Twins broke out to a nice lead but E San couldn't hold it. If Berrios can shut these guys down then he'll do it again during this series and I think the Twins will win it. If he doesn't then they will be in trouble.
