Game Thread: Twins @ Detroit 3:40 PM PST (5:40 PM CDT) 9/24/2019

[BD57]

Gibson simply cannot be effective.

[BD57]

Why the hell is Gibson still pitching?

The Tigers regular BP pitcher was tired?

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Some managin’ happenin’ in the Deetroit dugout

[FLTwinsGuy]

Stashak of all people warming??

[obtusebanter]

Guys   its the Tigers,  we good

Is the plan to piggyback Perez and Gibson for that 3rd playoff game? Trying to test-drive that proposition? Now is the time to try but I feel like I'm fishing.

[VATwinsFan]

Incomprehensible.

[Blake]

Glad I missed the "Gibson Angst."

Be cool if Gibson could reinvent himself as a relief pitcher.

wow, this comment aged all of an inning before it went stale.

[GCTF]

Just tuned back in, some one want to tell me wtf Kyle Gibspn is doing on the mound?

Giving Cleveland hope?

[VATwinsFan]

Shouldn't Rocco be trying this out AFTER they clinch the division???

[stringer bell]

And the satellite TV is out again.

[Danchat]

I'm not convinced this is Baldelli. This is the same thought process that caused a washed up Matt Belisle to pitch last season... just bizarre and illogical.

[SwainZag]

C'mon Gibby.  1 more....out that is.

[wabene]

Nice changeup

[mrtwinsfan]

WHAT EVER THE MANAGER WAS TRYING TO LEARN BY DOING THIS WITH GIBBY,  Nothing has changed

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Shouldn't Rocco be trying this out AFTER they clinch the division???

Agree. It’s not quite clinched enough, for this type of rehab outing.

[wabene]

That's allot of pitches

[LVTwinsfan]

Goes 0 and 2 then nibbles, every time

[denarded]

somebody smarter than me explain why Gibson is pitching. I'm serious

[wabene]

Pheeew!

[D. Hocking]

Just one more inning to go -- am assuming Gibby is done for the night.

[diehardtwinsfan]

there you go.

[mrtwinsfan]

Thank You Detroit Tigers,  Rocco is thinking -Piggyback,   but ??

[drock2190]

That was FUN!

Can't wait for playoff Gibby!

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

I don’t have too much of a problem leaving Gibby in all that time, but magic number 1 or 0 might make me feel better about it.

[BD57]

OK, please - no screwing around with the 9th ....

Score a touchdown & Gibson can have the 9th.  Otherwise, someone else.

[twinsnorth49]

He is incapible of attacking- scared

He attacked Candelario there....hell of a pitch.

Yes, I know it was Candelario.

[70charger]

Okay I realize I'm super late to the game here, but I was under the impression that Gibson was scheduled to start tomorrow.

Do we know what's up with that game?

[LVTwinsfan]

Not what I call a Good outing, changes nothing as far as confidence in him, mop up reliever at best

[wabene]

If we're gonna stretch Gibby out for that game three start I think another inning is in order
