Game Thread: Twins vs White Sox, 8/20, @ 7:10 CT

Does each one of these runs represent another Yuengling consumed by Aggies? If so, how's he holding up?

I wish we could get Yuenglings here in Minnesota.  Good stuff.

[yarnivek1972]

4 run inning. No homeruns.

Might be able to count the number of times the Twins have done that this year on one hand.

[Bandit34]

Looks like the White Sox woke up a sleeping giant! Great response in three straight innings!

[John Kelsey]

So, while we're on the subject, who is the "squirreliest" Twin from recent years?

I'd vote for Nick Punto.

Jason Tyner

[GCTF]

I fell asleep for a while, did I miss anything big?

No. Go back to bed.

[Brock Beauchamp]

Statcasting a squirrel is perhaps my favorite baseball moment ever.

Lew Ford

[GCTF]

Playoff game DH Jason Tyner

Fixed that up, I did.

[GCTF]

So it's going to be like that, eh?

[IndianaTwin]

This pretty much sums up that inning for the White Sox...

What i miss?

[stringer bell]

Four homers and not a one of them going 400 feet. Disappointing.

[Squirrel]

Sox announcers: "We didn't know that was a rally squirrel."

[twinssporto]

Maybe the squirrel was really a gopher....???

They do look alike.

[LaBombo]

Looks like the White Sox woke up a sleeping giant!

... and filled him with a terrible resolve...

Since he's not chirping away here, I'd guess he's passed out.

[mrtwinsfan]

BIG mIKE FOR THE 7TH ??   got my vote

If you are talking “squirrely” with regards to odd behavior I think it has to be Mike “Naked Batting Practice” Redmond.

For the playoffs we need to get Aggie on a steady flow of diet Coors.

[wabene]

Aww poor Cleveland!!

[wabene]

Big Mike's got my vote

[wabene]

Yuengling's closest Midwestern equivalent= Nordeast

[DiscGolfer]

What i miss?

I'm just getting caught up but apparently squirrel = runs

[PDX Twin]

Hildy gets the save in Rochester when they score 4 in the 8th to win 4-1.

Could he be the next to ride the "Twings" shuttle?

Rally squirrel!

See, this is where we need Bark's Lounge and his photoshooping skillz.

Someone put up the Barksignal!

[Mill1634]

Pretty solid outing from Pineda. Threw one bad pitch to Abreu, but was around the plate and put us in position to win (and helped my fantasy team)

Please, no.

Is he done, or do we bring him back out for the 8th?

[MMMordabito]

Pineda appears to currently have the edge for most desired FA Twins starter after this season.

[DiscGolfer]

Little off on my earlier prediction for Pineda going 5/6.  Nice to see a starter go 7 strong (although I missed the 2nd to 5th innings)
