DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 we haven't seen an 8 homer game lately
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Humorous, considering how many routine fly balls Dick seems to think might go out.Right? That's why I thought this one must really have no chance.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 If the Yankees were having the kind of offensive season that the Twins are having so far ESPN would have a 1 hour special every night devoted to talking about it
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 We just acquired Jeremy Bleich a 32 year old lefty from the Red Sox for cash considerations. He's been assigned to Rochester!
bighat Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Double-digits, thanks Jorge! Must see TV! Cruz is up!
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Cruz is guaranteed another plate appearance after this one.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Is it wrong to wish for 4 for 4 with 4 HR and 7 RBI here?
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Great showing by the offense. Doing exactly what they need to do, and Berrios has been good.
kydoty Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 10-2 lead in the 6th tonight: Nice and relaxed and can probably go to bed in a half hour. 10-2 lead in the 6th against the Yankees: Can’t sit still, this game is far from over! Need another beer!

VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Time to DFA Cruz....and then trade for cash considerations.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Ah. Just the kind of blockbuster move I expected from the front office. It’s a pretty standard move this time of year as teams pillage their minor league system and need warm bodies to pitch for their affiliates. Not terribly different than the Yankees buying Navarro from the Twins yesterday, though they did it in part because they need MLB catching depth.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Don't think you're going to see Berrios in the 7th Brock.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Sano is somehow much better at 3b than 1b.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Decent firstbaseman would have had that. On the other hand, Sano is solid defensively at DH.

I understand why teams make moves like this, but I am also poking fun of the Twins for historically not making trades that benefit their team down the playoff stretch. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the only trade the front office makes before the deadline.
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 where is this sloppy D coming from all of a sudden. D looked much better vs Yankees

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 BTW... KC and CLE tied bottom 6
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Aaargh ... having 10 runs across the plate does not mean you get to lose focus and throw the ball away! Stop that!

twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 That's some bad baseball Eddie, big lead or not you need to be more disciplined.
