Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 So this is what a normal baseball game feels like. I’d forgotten what they were like.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 OK, Berrios, bear down here. Let's see about 10 consecutive batters retired.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 So this is what a normal baseball game feels like. I’d forgotten what they were like.Well there have still been 3 HR and it’s the middle of the 3rd.
Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 You weren't missing much. Dick and Roy were going off all yesterday about how great of baseball the 10 inning loss was. And I turn on the game today and first thing Dick and LaTroy are talking about is how good the Yankees series was. I enjoy hitting as much as the next guy but I sure wouldn't call either of those games good baseball. The broadcasters are employed by the team.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Meanwhile, the Yankees have given up 12 runs to the Red Sox in just 4 innings...Breaks my heart to hear that.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Talking about extending the netting and evaluating foul balls and such--Target Field has less foul territory than any other MLB stadium except Wrigley. This says to me that netting is needed more there than almost any other stadium.

I know it's normalized from being a pitchers park, but one would think that little foul territory plays to hitters in a big way.

Pay attention to the game so the rest of us don’t have to stare through black string all game.

And sometimes it's just hard to get out of the way because of people around you.

I feel the same principle applies to foul balls.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 schoop gets us going... let's get a big crooked number and kick Gio out of the game.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Hell of a bunt. Schoop is so slow.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 why push bunt? put it down the 3rd baseline so theres less of a chance of the runner getting out at 2nd...
