PDX Twin Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Looks like Jake is more odor than easy tonight.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 The Royals sure are intimidated by the Twins
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 I thought Gibson pitched last night
David HK Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Just drenched on the motorbike on the way to work- peeled off the wet clothes, put on the dry emergency clothes (a truly eye-catching combo), and cranked up the mlbtv-- Gee, a hit with RISP. Take a lesson, boys.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Given the pitch count, maybe Jake is going to be the opener for Stewart tonight.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 That was borderline clown showish...
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 The last thing this team needs is another crappy start. Please bounce back from this, Odorizzi!
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 That was borderline clown showish...borderline? Downright Moe and Larry
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 What are the Indians doing? Sigh Edit: they lost!
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 borderline? Downright Moe and LarrySee, borderline! You didn't mention Curly! Or Shemp...or even Joe!
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 They going to play this game under protest? The umps totally got that call wrong. Said from the non-rules expert.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 They going to play this game under protest? The umps totally got that call wrong.Said from the non-rules expert. I wouldn't be surprised. But doesn't he have to announce the protest at the time of the play? Maybe that's what he was doing out there. But I remember in past situations that it was known almost immediately to the announcing team.

curt1965 Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Just jumping into this thread, but........... seriously? The Twins have no one other than Jack Morris to do the color on these games? I’ve heard him call the Twins the Tigers at least 3 times! He is irritating to listen to.I know your wife just had a baby, Justin Morneau, but get your butt back here!!
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Curly! Without Jerome Howard the 3 Stooges would be a minor footnote. Curly was perhaps the most gifted comic actor in the history of film.
David HK Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Man, I like this Arraez a lot. Just seeing him in the box, the way he seems to recognize breaking stuff early, he looks comfortable up there.

Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Just now commenting on the rundown: A better fielder (like every other player on our roster, for example) would not have attempted the throw that Astudillo tried to make. The third run may have scored anyway with the runner on second base but why make that throw when the runner had just been called out?

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Chief household update: Earlier this afternoon, Mrs Chief met me at the front door wearing nothing but very sheer negligee. The trouble with that, of course, was she was just getting home from the night before.
David HK Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Good inning for Jake. Too bad he decided to have his warm-up session on the mound instead of the bullpen, tho...
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Rule book says the ball is live: "Even though an out is called (for leaving baseline) the ball remains in play in regard to any other runner"If you say so Mr. Fancypants rule expert!
