LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Cave, Schoop and Sano are all automatic outs. Cave doesn't belong in the major league. Cave is a defensive replacement who is arguably the 4th-best defensive outfielder on the team, so I would at least agree that he probably doesn't belong on this major league team. Schoop seems very Dozier pre-breakout... .250/.300/.450-ish and maybe 25 homers. That's a good hitter batting 7th, but he's going to disappear for some stretches with that obp. Sano continues to build his case for Biggest Enigma in MLB.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 I like the Mets broadcasters. They know the game, they're funny, and they have a good time in the booth.I was listening to either a Pirates or Phillies game a couple of weeks ago. Wish I remember which it was because they were having fun.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Tough play on both ends. Nice.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Can we put together an inning, please?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Can we put together an inning, please? We’ve already put together 4. Granted they haven’t been good ones but still we have finished 4
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Might as well send Cave down and give Rooker a chance.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Odorizzi’s body language stinks Mav tried to tell him before the game, but he wasn't having any of it...
bighat Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Cave's looked terrible, this team needs Buxton back pronto. Are we going against Verlander or Sparkman tonight? What the heck is happening. Maybe their bullpen will implode.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Well I guess we'll have to deal with a well below average outfielder for about 5 more days until Buxton is ready to go
Han Joelo Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 I could be persuaded to acquire one of those Obi-Wan Kepleroni Bobbleheads Dan and Cory were just talking about.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Might as well send Cave down and give Rooker a chance.Lamonte Wade is on the 40 man roster and could use a cup of coffee. He may only be hitting .232 but he's got a crazy good walking ability with a .374 OBP. We could use that right now.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Astros are really struggling. Lost 4 in a row and down big to the Yankees late.
bighat Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 With Stewart warming it looks like another game the Twins are willing to forfeit after burning the bullpen the other night. Was that 17-inning win worth it? The wheels have come off Perez, and with Odorizzi and Gibson stumbling the outlook becomes pretty murky. This team needs a spark, and they need to stop swinging for the fences every time. Teams have made adjustments and it's time to adapt.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Can we put together an inning, please? Coaching staff is working on it but it looks like Ikea packaged the wrong instructions.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Pretty tired of Cave. What took you so long?
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Remember when Odorizzi was part of the Cy Young race? Woof.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 What took you so long?I kept reading the GIants would take him for Mad Bum and the lefty reliever.
Blake Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Author Posted June 21, 2019 Pretty tired of Cave. And Sano.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Pretty tired of Cave. He seems a little off his game, like maybe he had some iggy pop or something...

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Tonight, they’re getting a pretty solid spark, man.And I get **** for the lameness of my jokes...
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Will be interesting to see what laid back Rocco does to correct this recent and unwelcome listless play
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Astudillo shedding uniform components as he approaches the sound barrier...
bighat Verified Member Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Schoop's been a disappointment to be honest. He's looked bad up there for a while, and with the exception of one big HR in Tampa a couple weeks ago, I can't remember him doing anything meaningful for a long, long time.
