I've had a feeling the last few years watching Rogers pitch that he reminded me of someone but I could never figure out who that was.

 

He is Dan Plesac.

This reminds me of an early 90's DOS/PC baseball game I had that was licensed by MLB but not the MLBPA. So... real MLB team names and logos, real-ish MLB player stats, but player names were randomly generated from a small but diverse database of firsts and lasts.

 

And it had no first/last name ethnicity matching algorithm, so Jesus Kepler would've been right at home with teammates Darnell Fujiwara and Sergei O'Callahan.

Garver needs to be more aggressive with 2 strikes. There were at least 3 times this series where he watched a fastball right down the middle of the strike zone for strike 3.

It looks like he has to be guessing and he has a tell of some kind.

In the Twins last 10 games the bullpen has pitched 32.1 innings and given up 27 runs, something has to change going forward.
