LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Can someone shut up the person who continues to do the blood curdling scream? Preferably without it resulting in a blood-curdling scream.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Indeed, especially for a team that has seemingly always been known for better hitting than pitching. A certain kind of hitting.
bird Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Dozier Poor Warshington. Dozier's a starter there.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 This Parker game was going to happen sometime.
70charger Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Preferably without it resulting in a blood-curdling scream. I could go either way on that.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Just saw a mini-ad for orthopedic care featuring Buxton. I assume this is not a coincidence...
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Last batter for Parker if he doesn't get him?
twins_89 Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Parker on the mound never gives me a feeling of confidence. He's been successful this season, but it often seems like he's on the edge of imploding
bird Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 I'd give you one, but you probably haven't heard of him. Go.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 I don’t know, that’s a low threshold. Even Steve Lombardozzi did it. It only took him four seasons too.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Yelich sure hasn't looked like a star in this series...
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 having a broken dryer sucks. Fixing it is supremely satisfying. Listening to the Twins own the Brewers during... time for a cigarette ... after I check for gas leaksZen and the Art of Dryer Repair.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Author Posted May 29, 2019 Please don't use Rogers in the 9th with a 3 run lead and the bottom half of the order. I'd like to see Littell get a shot at the save, but looks like May may be given the chance.
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 BTW...I'm giving Smeltzer extra credit for high pants and showing the hose.
bird Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Yadier Molina's backup. No peeking in the Google Machine. Bruce Look.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 I've often thought it would be a good game within the game in dull game threads: Obscure catcher names. Go. Tom Prince.John Sevcik, Jerry Zimmerman, Russ Nixon
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Author Posted May 29, 2019 Schoop has been pretty poor as of late
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 How about Hal Narragon's replacement as Earl Battey's backup?
drock2190 Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Yelich sure hasn't looked like a star in this series... He's no Tommy La Stella that's for sure!
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 I've never told anybody this, but... I used to hear about Prizm Research on the radio. I thought they were saying, "Prison Research," and I was horrified. Right out in the open, they're admitting it. Medical experiments on prisoners! Won't somebody save these people??
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Please don't use Rogers in the 9th with a 3 run lead and the bottom half of the order. I'd like to see Littell get a shot at the save, but looks like May may be given the chance. Day off tomorrow, Littell could be a smart idea. Guessing they don't want him in this high of a leverage point yet?
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Schoop has been pretty poor as of lateThought I heard he's been better on the road so far this year, for whatever reason.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 I've never told anybody this, but... I used to hear about Prizm Research on the radio. I thought they were saying, "Prison Research," and I was horrified. Right out in the open, they're admitting it. Medical experiments on prisoners! Won't somebody save these people?? Even when you know what they're saying it still sounds like 'prison'. Still, there was a part of me that was like 'Well, I hope the pharma giants at least pass the savings along to the consumers'.
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Poor Adrianza...can't hit, can't field, no versatility, no value.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 NOW Rocco's pinch-runner master plan is revealed! Adrianza's actually in there for his bat!
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Poor Adrianza...can't hit, can't field, no versatility, no value. You're forgetting "can't run."
