Also, I don't disagree with Rocco pulling Smeltzer here. Yes he is only at 69 pitches, but he had been playing with fire for as good as an outing as it was. The bullpen is fairly well rested, and they have an offday tomorrow.

Some luck in there. He's a guy who pounds the hell out of the strike zone, and you have to think that contact catches up to him at some point. That said, he's got a quirky delivery, and maybe there's some deception there. I'd like to see him again.
