I remember Narragon pretty well. He was Earl Battey's backup catcher in the early 1960s. I thought he was on the team mostly so that Battey wouldn't be the slowest player.

I thought this was interesting. Target Field, despite the Twins' home run barrage, is among the lowest scoring parks in the majors this year.

 

Gotta think it'll head up the rankings a bit, especially since the par three ballpark known as Yankee Stadium is also toward the bottom.

Not sure I agree with pulling Smeltzer. My thought process is a good debut, close game, rested pen, day of tomorrow, good time to pull him on a high note with a boatload of confidence???
