John Kelsey Verified Member Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Man, watching Mauer crush the ball lately has been so fun.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Time to move Polanco out of the 3 hole, methinks.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 JOE!!! That pitch was a half foot inside.typical Mauer trying to pull it

yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Time to move Polanco out of the 3 hole, methinks.I know some people are of the opinion that you should shuffle your lineup based on who's hot, who's not. I disagree. Invariably, the moves are made after a hot or cold spell has already been going on for several games. I'm of the school of thought that says you set a lineup and stick with it for the most part. Obviously, injuries and off days cause shuffling. That said, with Miguel Sano playing (although he isn't likely to play 3b this year again), I think I like a lineup of 2b Dozier1b Mauerdh Sanolf Rosario ss Polancocf Buxtonrf Kepler3b Escobarc Castro I like Polanco in the 5 spot. I think his contact ability plays well sandwiched between a bunch of guys that sometimes struggle with contact.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I'm glad we get to see Pressly here. I've been wondering all season if he could get anyone out.
GCTF Verified Member Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Pressly retires the side in order after being allowed to start the inning. Therefore I can only assume if he had started the 7th on Friday the same result would have taken place. Thanks, Molly.

70charger Verified Member Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Did Kevin Gorg really just say "we're going to take care of those Yankees dicks"? Because that's what I heard.
mickeymental Verified Member Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 my tv just said trout is 5 for his last 38. if true, stick a fork in him. dfa.
mickeymental Verified Member Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 pressly has left the building.
wavedog Verified Member Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 We finally wore Donaldson out - must have gotten tired rounding the bases. Nice comeback win today guys!
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 4-2 home stand; acceptable.

Surprised Polanco lasted this long . . . .
Blake Verified Member Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Buxton catches that.™Yeah, it's kind of shocking to watch hits drop in that you know Buxton would have caught.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Prescient. Win or lose, getting called away for a few hours and then reading this thread before waiting for Gameday to take its sweet time loading up is entertaining. Season. Over.Sheesh how slow is your internet connection
spinowner Provisional Member Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 How about just walking Donaldson the rest of the game - he is hot and we can't get him out. How about a high and inside pitch to get his pants dirty?Just got done reading today's thread and PDX gets post of the day. Because I don't think he was referring to the dirt on the outside of Donaldson's pants.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Who had Sano third on the team in home runs in the pool? And if Rosario gets to thirty, does that change our understanding of who he is as a player?
mickeymental Verified Member Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 wait a minute. didn't eddie get released the other week?
