puckstopper1 Verified Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 The game has been postponed and rescheduled as a double header on June 17.
gocgo Verified Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Considering that we have dropped the last 3 and are on a bit of a skid, a rainout would be mother natures way of ending the skid. I think the forecast calls for partly partly with a chance of darkness toward evening. It also give us fans a chance to pause and catch our wits. OK, so, we are 7-7 and have won only 3 of the last 10. However, KC is 6-7, Cleveland is 7-7, Chicago is 7-7, and the division leading Tiggers are 1.5 games in front of us at 8-5. Everyone is within 2 games of each other. Considering where we were last year at this time, I'll take it. We need a rainout and a postponement to a date when we are hitting the baseball again. It's all good.

pbrezeasap Provisional Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 At least the Wild and Twins can't lose by the same score on the same day again.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 One less thing to worry about on the TV conundrum tonight.... Keep tabs on the Wild, then tune in for Fargo!
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 It's ironic that the game would be postponed, considering it was scheduled to be nationally broadcast on ESPN.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Some of these posts are juuuuust a bit outside the ground rules you laid out.Partly my fault. I read 17th anniversary and greatest baseball movie ever made and was confused because i couldn't reconcile the two. Surely It happens every Springtime is older than that. "Rules... You said your finger was a gun. There are no rules here..." Comes to mind as well, but that movie is more funny when it takes itself too seriously. Does Naked Gun count as a Baseball movie?
