Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 That was a long half inning. Gibson could be tight. Would love to see a quick 1-2-3 inning.
gocgo Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 7 pitches for Gibson. Detroit threw 40 last half inning. Let's go for the kill.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Gibson at 31 pitches, Fulmer at 74. Bring on that Tiger bullpen.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Ah, another sign this year just might be a bit different.. How many times did we see the bases loaded, last year, and no runs scored? I seem to recall it started in the first few games of the year and sort of became a habit for the team the whole season. Which year are we talking about? I seem to recall the last several years being afflicted with this disease.
hybridbear Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Don't you dare tell those beautiful southpaws where they can play on the infield.Lol I'm a lefty who throws & bats righty... but I do pretty much everything else left-handed. I wish I could throw lefty...

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 They were challenging whether or not Sano's foul hooked inside the pole, and would therefore have been a jonron. Unsurprisingly, the call stood, so Sano had to settle for working a walk. excellent use of jonron. I just was actually working during Dozier's....
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Are you saying questioning the strike zone is...the Danger Zone?!?

gocgo Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Not the worst thing in the world to plunk Martinez. Now for the DP.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Baseball is my respite from politics. I believe in the separation of baseball and state. I definitely don't want to annoy people, so no more political type stuff from me. Which sucks, because that's my favorite meme--not because I'm a Trump fan (I'm not), but because it just kills any conversation.
gocgo Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Uh oh. 3-0 and Gibson struggling to throw strikes.
FunnyPenguin Provisional Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 This is soooo Gibson, looks really good for 3 innings and then deteriorates....
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Gibson has always had a knack for pitching himself into trouble.
gocgo Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Gibson's change up has become his most effective pitch.
gocgo Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Dang. Close to being a DP ball. OK, we can still work out of this.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Uh oh, here comes Gibson's implosion...
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 1-2, hits Martinez walks Upton on 5 pitches 1-2, gives up a line drive hit This is all on Gibson.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 1-2, hits Martinez walks Upton on 5 pitches 1-2, gives up a line drive hit This is all on Gibson. I blame Castro for the walk. Why didn't he frame it better?
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Oh man, just tuned in and here's Gibson imploding again. Pitch #26 for the inning.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Annnnnnnd, that's the Gibson we all know and love. No better time for me to exit stage right and call balls and strikes. I'll hope for better news crossing on my phone when the game is over.

Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Damn - this team has far too many players that are so mentally soft!
KirbyDome89 Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Uh oh, here comes Gibson's implosion...Good call Nostradamus
woolywoolhouse Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Is that what a team is supposed to do with the bases full? Not strikeouts and bouncers?
