hybridbear Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 I assume he meant Kinsler, not Kepler.Kinsler is not left-handed. No infielders are left-handed except 1Bs.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Kinsler is not left-handed. No infielders are left-handed except 1Bs. Don't you dare tell those beautiful southpaws where they can play on the infield.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Where did Kep get plunked? Top of the foot, I believe I heard Cory say.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Why are we reviewing this call? Wasn't even close! That said, poor taste to play J Geils Band in the stadium the day after his death? Too soon?
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Cory, referring to Sano's foul, "Yesterday, that may have stayed in the park, and been a homerun". That Sano is so athletic, Cory just assumes he'd get an inside-the-park dinger.
woolywoolhouse Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Oh give it to Sano. Be cool.

TwinsCD Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 If that's a used challenge, that's a pathetic use of one.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2017 Author Posted April 12, 2017 what are they challenging? Game day isn't saying anything.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 The Sano review has broken Gameday. Come on nerds, get it fixed!
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 what are they challenging? Game day isn't saying anything. They were challenging whether or not Sano's foul hooked inside the pole, and would therefore have been a jonron. Unsurprisingly, the call stood, so Sano had to settle for working a walk.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 what are they challenging? Game day isn't saying anything.Crew chief review of long Sano foul ball. No call from the manager.

Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 And again, the opposing pitcher takes the free strike against Mauer. I mean, better than our pitcher taking the free strike against Mauer.
FunnyPenguin Provisional Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 What is happening? Gameday is dead
Blake Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Of course, I knew all along Mauer was going to get a hit......
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Yay Joe! Way to beat that ball into the ground!

rghrbek Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Joe with the metronome hit!!!! Thank goodness for that landing strip that Detroit has.
rghrbek Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Love the Bremgasm on Polonco's foul ball....good times.
gocgo Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 That's high on Polanco...I don't like this umps inconsistent zone. Called Castro out on a pitch 3 inches inside.
Blake Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Ah, another sign this year just might be a bit different.. How many times did we see the bases loaded, last year, and no runs scored? I seem to recall it started in the first few games of the year and sort of became a habit for the team the whole season.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Bremgasm I am not sure this is a word that should have ever been thought of or created.
gocgo Verified Member Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 That was a long half inning. Gibson could be tight. Would love to see a quick 1-2-3 inning.
