I am John, I am from upstate New York and I am new to the forum.  I am a huge baseball fan and have been a closet Twins fan for a few years.  Baseball is my absolute favorite sport and I enjoy talking about it and writing about it.  I write for a couple of different sites but I won't try and advertise that here.

 

The offseason is always my favorite and least favorite time of year.

 

I look forward to getting into discussions with you all on here.

Yes I am a Mets fan.  My interest in the Twins started around 2008 when I went down to Florida on vacation.  I took a little side trip to Hammond Stadium and just really enjoyed it but always had a soft spot during the contraction talk.

And there's also the 'Other Baseball' forum if you want to talk about other teams (like the Mets) or general baseball. (And may I just add ... thank God your other team isn't the Yankees! )
