Winston Smith Verified Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 On another serious baseball note, Brian Dozier has the second-best OPS of AL second basemen. I think he deserves an All-Star spot. You should know better than to bring up serious baseball stuff around here!
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Wow, what a play by Brian Dozier. Leaped to snag a line drive, then lands and throws to second in one beautiful, fluid motion. All Star!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Not a widely held opinion, apparently. Some may just have to read it two or three times. When it sinks in... They will all laugh.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I'm not sure which is more exciting having Lord Byron called up or having Brian back? A player like Buxton comes up (if he lives up to potential) every twenty to thirty years (give or take) -- a poster like RB comes along but once.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Anyone else tired of watching 2015 Hughes after being spoiled last season by his performance?
formerly33 Verified Member Posted June 14, 2015 Author Posted June 14, 2015 Has anyone noticed that Gardy is a bandwagon hater? He's sitting behind home plate with a red Rangers shirt and a blue Rangers hat and shorts on, and he has lost some weight from dating redneck Texan girls. (Is that backwards thinking? Maybe rednecks don't go out to eat.)

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 The Iconic food winner for my road trip was the Lobster in Maine. 2nd was the Pastrami at Katz in New York My lobster experiences are memorable too. First time i was so slow dealing with the shell that it was cold by the time i ate it. Gets kinda rubbery when cold. Second time the memorable part was being seated with strangers. They got their lobster as we sat down, and we chatted, then new strangers came when we got our lobster, and we chatted. I'm sure i've eaten lobster at other times, and it was fine, but i guess i don't remember much beyond the butter...

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I have to say... that is a food dream destroyed. That is the only reason I would go to Pittsburgh.Good to know, thanks for the heads up. Since you have been away awhile, I'll leave you with a treat.New OT.jpgThe Ham was good... Pittsburgh is worth the trip. It was my favorite city on the trip. Looking down on it from the Mount Washington overlook was stunning. Pittsburgh was beautiful and I didn't expect that.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Bert with some scintillating analysis...that was the first fly ball caught by Buxton.

That way I'm the only one with a bib. I look goofy but everybody else gets splattered so I'm OK looking goofy.

spinowner Provisional Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 There's Dozier taking Buxton's hit again. Except Buxton would have had a stand-up triple.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 He's fast down that line. Dozier showed him how to get it by the 3rd baseman though. The mentorin' is on the other shoulders now...
