So will Austin Martin and Allen Roden have to go on tge DL? Seems like bith guys are possibly injured.

This is probably hyperbole, but imo Shelty needs to manage these games like they're win or go home. Same with the players, obviously. Realistically, anything less than a series win against ATL and we're cooked heading into the West Coast road trip. Keep your head above water until the long run of divisional games at the end of the month.

I agree with keeping hope alive, but they are 6.0 games out of the Division. I think the WC is going to be the Twins only path to the playoffs this year.

True. Though I suppose we can gain ground on one of the potential WC teams (Detroit) during that stretch.

Hey, we don't need to win this game.  We just need an inconsequential single late in a losing effort, and that should be reason enough to celebrate.
