jaimedude Verified Member Posted August 17 Posted August 17 So will Austin Martin and Allen Roden have to go on tge DL? Seems like bith guys are possibly injured.
Saxophone Joe Verified Member Posted August 17 Posted August 17 I'm a fool, so keeping hope alive. This is probably hyperbole, but imo Shelty needs to manage these games like they're win or go home. Same with the players, obviously. Realistically, anything less than a series win against ATL and we're cooked heading into the West Coast road trip. Keep your head above water until the long run of divisional games at the end of the month. Permanent Twins Fan and USAFChief 2

I agree with keeping hope alive, but they are 6.0 games out of the Division. I think the WC is going to be the Twins only path to the playoffs this year. Saxophone Joe and Patzky 2

Yes (Martin)! And you'll never guess who's on the way up (back) Alex Jackson. You can make this stuff up. Truly we haven't won a game since he left.. MMMordabito Verified Member Posted August 17 Posted August 17 Hey, we don't need to win this game. We just need an inconsequential single late in a losing effort, and that should be reason enough to celebrate. Rodney29, TCanWins, tarheeltwinsfan and 3 others 1 1 4

Kreidler 2b make more sense in how Shelty does his lineup or ? maybe he forgot Roden is a lefty , , do like Luke leading off but he wont be allowed to run cause it bothers Byron Anything worse than 3-3 b4 we get to the Central next week and were done , still got a 9% chance at playoff--Go Twins Hunter4848 1

I agree it's looking more and more like the Twins are circling in the water closet. However, IMO, T-3 did the riight thing and got the team more help at the trade deadline. Now it's 100% on the players to get to the playoffs. Careful what you wish for, you just might get it. I just wish they didn't give up Dasan Hill. Cris E 1
