Keep him in the leadoff spot until further notice.

What?!?! Clemens is better in every aspect of the game.

I think the MLB is going to learn that you don't deal starting pitching prospects with many years of control for relievers who can blowup at any moment, see Griffin Jax stats in Tampa. Duran has been good but already a free agent after next year and throws max 70 innings per year.

I would say you're more correct about Jax than Abel.  If you believe you are a good closer away from a WS run, you likely still make that trade.  Especially if you stand a chance at resigning him, like Philly does.

If Philly wants to re-sign Duran long term they certainly can. Money isn't gonna stop them

He's a nervous young man (Mick), and a bit awkward.  But he did amazing, and I was glad to hear from him.

Save it for after the game.

Pitchers are like goalies in hockey, They can be a bit weird and who cares? Abel will find himself if he keeps doing well in MLB

Great outing from Abel. His pitches had a lot of bite. Do any of you other old farts think Abel's delivery reminds you of Kevin Tapani's? It's just loose and fluid, almost effortless.

Heh... With the sparse crowed, not to tough for the cameras to find the young Sox rookie's family out there. They have a whole section to themselves!

All that aside, how nice is it to rough up Sonny Gray? 😂

I'm happy for the young kid.

I hope your tv-tray dinner didn't tip over, and the hospice nurse is near by.

Rocco must be sitting in his recliner chair in Woonsocket feeling pretty dumb right about now.  Either that, or grumbling into his ice-cold Narragansett, "well, sure, if they'd given me a roster like THIS."

A little bit. I think Abel is taller and lankier.

Might help him keep it together if his shortstop fumbles one (see Ryan the other night)
