Brooks Lee made one of the laziest plays I've ever seen from a MLB player last night...and the manager starts him today.

Lee literally gave away a base because he couldn't be bothered to even pretend to care.

That's terrible on Lee, and even worse on a manager who allows it. This is a ROOKIE--a struggling rookie at that--and he's not the least bit worried about how such blatant lack of concern will be received.

And as it turns out, he was right. No need to worry at all.

Too bad the pitching cupboard is bare. Team is leaking all over right now. They just need to play .500 to get in.

LFG Twins! All teams are tired at this point in the season. Need a spark!

Feels like the bottom of the order will be the spark today. Expect two hits each from Farmer, Margot.

No Buxton, no Correa after half a game of playing. What a joke.  I am starting to Believe Rocco is trying his hardest to look as a  Manager who knows more than all the Purists and Experience in the History of BaseBall,  Matt Wallner as a Leadoff hitter -  he did it with Gallo also ,  Has he ever explained his beliefs in a daily Lineup and what goes into his Non Thinking head -  Sorry to say he got a Extension thru next year,   So Enjoy this wonderfull Class aaa action , hope they win , This Manager if he ever did have the respect of the Dugout -  No Longer does

No sense of urgency or concern. No "All hands on deck" attitude. No noticeable fight in this team. WTF happened? Another game where the manager picks names out of a hat for the lineup. No worries...in another week, the only thing keeping us out of the basement, will be the ChiSox. It's sickening.

Nothing says playing for the playoffs like a lineup with Santana hitting 3rd, Castro 5th and Margot in the lineup at all.  Someone please tell when the team is actually going to play with any sense of urgency.  This front office has assembled a poor roster and their analytics staff needs to be cut in half at a minimum.

Why do you want to fire a handful of $40k per year office underlings? What did they ever do to you?

Some of the players know that Rocco is Rocco the "players manager".  He's those players friend not their boss.

Anybody thats been a boss knows thats poison.

The ownership have not played by there standards as they cut payroll drastically but have added another member to the top rung position by the name Pohlad to be to Mr. St. Peter’s co -pilot.
They run the Twins like it’s a hobby project!

I wish they did run it like a hobby! Instead they run it like the rest of their businesses

De La Cruz is average with a bat and not a real good SS but it would be nice if the Twins had a base stealer like him.

Oh look, it's that former Twins farmhand who was wrongly traded away coming back to bite us one more time in the series.  Add in the combination of Dr. Strangeglove in CF and it's a perfect storm.

Uuuh, no? What the hell are you smoking? He's like legit good on defense and his bat is strong. He's like a 6 WAR player and is younger than Brooks Lee.

.953 fielding average with 28 errors this season; that is FAR from good defense.

Last fifteen games  a .170 batting average with a 30 percent K rate, average at best.

This level of homerism prevents you from appreciating great players when they're on a different team. There's not a single player in the entire Twins organization I wouldn't trade for De La Cruz, ignoring the ****** contract we're paying the cripple currently at SS.

Can't any of these kids throw four innings?

They can but not effectively.  SWR is out of gas and Festa nibbles way too much to maybe make up for not great stuff.

At least we got Tyler Mahle in return. 🙃
