Adell has had a nice offensive series. The Angels have had a hard time finding playing time for him and he's out of options. He's been terrible in the field this series, but his defensive numbers are okay. The Twins have both Wallner and Larnach who hit lefty. Would it make sense to trade one of those guys for Adell?

I'll add that Adell has played some center field and has stolen five bases already this season, indicating his speed and athleticism might be superior to either Wallner or Larnach.

Win today, you're back above .500 and the entire narrative of April 2024 changes.

What if I already have a different narrative for April?  I'm stubborn like that.

And that's fair. I wasn't terribly upset when the Twins were 7-13. It was disappointing but still so early that I wasn't hot and bothered about it.

I'm not even sure what my narrative would be other than happy none of the injuries are long term. 7-13 is not the end of the world, but it was annoying watching them look like they didn't know which end of the bat to hold for a while. Obviously that wasn't going to continue.

This roster is good. Team is starting to perform.

His defensive numbers are OK? Official scoring is a joke. He's played some CF translates to the Angels have put him out there, not that he can actually play out there. The 2 games this series and several occasions I've seen him play is that he's not good. I'm not questioning his athleticism or speed. But yeah sure. Trade one of the 2 mentioned. Sweeten it up and add a top prospect and try to get Detmers too

Hopefully, we will see ‘good’ Pablo today. Not only for this game, but to also give us some assurance for his upcoming games.

Wallner back up?

Shows how little i pay attention...

Next thing ya tell me Correa will be back up too.

So in short, Farmer or Castro can go back to being back up at short...

Only one inning, but it appears Pablo is okay.

It appears his velo is back, his control looks fine

Where's the bats when you need them?

They're locked up and each game's opposing pitcher holds the key.  The last several games the pitcher has handed it over more willingly than expected.

Son Bashbury is in attendance at today's game.

Bashbury?  My apologies but I wasn't aware of that branch of the bury tree.  What is the totality of the bury tree, or is it fully known?

At least we aren't striking out, sooner later they'll fall in

Two sons are Twins fans, Bashbury and Cashbury. The older one is at today's game.  Here is a photo he sent earlier in the game.

I don’t know if that will officially be an earned run, but it should be.

The box score shows it as such.  Reconstructing the inning without the error, to the benefit of the pitcher, would seem to have the run scoring anyway, thus the earned run.
