They are pretty good about trading away their pitchers though. Not when Derek Falvey was there. The Twins are doing now pretty much what Falvey's crew was doing in Cleveland a decade ago. And Bieber was merely drafted by Cleveland when Falvey was there. He came to MN four months later. chpettit19 1

They traded for just about every one of their pitchers. Like the Twins have done. These are guys that have started for Cleveland and were drafted just since 2019 - Bieber,Allen,Bibee,McKenzie,Civale,Williams,Plesac,Morgan,Plutko, I would say Bauer is like Ryan, and they got Clevinger from the Angles as a minor league guy.

$tryf4Life Verified Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 The play of this team is very similar to the first half last year where the seem to be beatable by every team. Looks like Rocco's guys are behind most other teams right now. Hoping they start getting the offseason rust off soon and can get to some starters. P.S I am a long time thread and Twins Daily lurker. This is a replay of last season. Twins went for the banana in the tailpipe with the ALDS win and gave this clown another chance. Parfigliano 1

It's early, they could turn it around, however the FO did nothing to improve last year's team. The manager keeps making the same head scratching decisions that fail nearly every time and there is zero life. I am half kidding when I post the crap I do... however, this team is currently lost while being led by a moron. SwainZag, Mike Sixel, Parfigliano and 1 other 1 3

If I remember right our "core" players didn't really play together (maybe one or two games)

cheeseheadgophfan Verified Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 I'm sure Margot bunted on his own.....still don't think it was enough to be overturned Does the ball still have to be in the back of the glove to indicate it's caught? I still think it was a dumb move pitch hitting in the 4th inning. We are hitting in some bad luck right now too. Castro and Jeffers both smoked balls right at the outfielders. I didn't think Paddock was bad. Some bad luck too. Two squibbers back to him went for hits. Watching Hoskins swing the bat and make scoops at first, knowing we could have had him instead of Santana is painful.
