Kopech getting slapped around

Watching the White Sox get pounded never gets old.  Can we put in our order now for another 10-2 win tomorrow? (I'm going to assume we can close this one out.)

Wonder if  Wallner  was pinch hit , for at that time , i thought oh thats just Rocco, then   Julien and Kiroloff batted , and then ??  remember he Doged it on that pop fly ,   ???  right b4 being p.h. for ?   Go Twins

You might be right on that one. I guess it's easier to make an example out of a rookie vs let's say Farmer last night.

Really hurts baseball to have so many teams making no effort to field a competitive team.

Most of their players demeanor says its an inconvenience to even be there.

How many really made no effort?  I count 5 - Nats, Rockies, Pirates, KC, A's.  The White Sox tried - they just failed spectacularly.

A couple of teams cut their losses at the deadline when they were out of it, but other sports have far more teams with no hope.  (NBA anyone?)

At this moment Kansas City is three outs from beating Houston, that takes some effort.

Royce Lewis has just joined Don Budge, Rod Laver, Stefi Graf, Mo Connelly and Margaret Court  with four grand slams in a calendar year.

Does Tiger Woods count in that method?
