Opener with Headrick's to follow?

It was announced yesterday that today would be a BP game. I'm guessing De León gets 2, maybe 3 innings, then Headrick? I'm not really sure how BP games work in terms of who gets how many innings, but pretty sure that a couple of pitchers will get multiple innings.

I've noticed the Tigers have no problem moving HOF player Cabrera down in the lineup due to his drop-off in performance as his career comes to a close but the Twins won't make those changes to their under performing stars. Just to shake things up. I don't think Miggy is too concerned about it.

Effectiveness or game score, hopefully the Twins pitchers are effective and the score goes the teams way!!

At least we'll get the first K out of the way right off the bat...Buck's hitting leadoff.

I think a key factor in the losses  to Detroit come from defensive misplays by Twins’ young players in the infield. Both Lewis and Julien have some rough edges to smooth over.

Heading out to a picnic at the lake.  Hope today's game makes me regret this silly choice.

If it's with family and or friends, it's never silly.  Enjoy.

Most definitely.  Their defensiive and mental errors are cancelling out a lot of their  offensive skills.

I like that Kirilloff is in the lineup against the lefty and I like that he is down in the order.

It keeps Kirilloff getting looks at lefties while his place in the batting order is reflective of how he has looked the past couple of days against lefties.

On the other hand... Buxton batting 1st... is not reflective of how he has looked.

Leading off Bux should be bunting or slapping down on ball.  28 HR a year Bux is never coming back.  He gone.

Why do you think that?

Why throw Baez or Cabrera a strike?

Wellllllll, Baez did hit a triple on a pitch a foot outside on Thursday......
