Winston Smith Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Is this where the Pagan fan club meets?
Muppet Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 For his punishment Pagan should have to pitch the rest of the game.
KirbyDome89 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 People were actually trying to convince themselves that Pagan wasn't this guy....
HawksNest Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 In a different world, this series could have been a sweep. Instead looks like we'll win 1 out of 3. Disappointing

SwainZag Community Moderator Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 So that's what it looks like getting a hit with the bases loaded looks like, hopefully some guys on the field are taking notes.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Oh well...........the sun will rise, tomorrow.
stocker08 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Dodgers switch pitchers with bases loaded and zero outs and manage to get out of it giving up a goose egg. Rocco puts the worst reliever in baseball in the game with two outs and guys on first and second and they end up getting five. Smart stuff.

It was mere hope that’s all. With jax being unreliable and thielbar out, lopez also being hit or miss…need that other guy besides duran. This one hurts
kydoty Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 That’s the fifth grand slam for the Dodgers this season. For comparison, the Twins have seven singles with the bases loaded. That’s it.

Irishman Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Rocco, please waive Pagan and DeLeon!
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 The Pagan Sacrifice is back with a vengeance. Electric stuff. Walks in the tying run, then gives up a grand salami. The bigger the stage, the bigger the choke. Please can he go do this for some other team?

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Man that’s a round house kick to the gut lol
wavedog Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Not sure why you bring in Pagan to a high leverage situation like that.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Yes, Dick. Taylor came in on defense in the bottom of the seventh after he had a day off yesterday. It makes me wonder if he's okay or is having a recurrence of his knee trouble.
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 The Dodgers are too good of a team to give so many chances. Game over.
OvertheHill Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 There’s no numbers you could use to convince me that it’s a better strategy to have Pagan (still) on this roster than to grab someone, anyone, from somewhere else in the system. Eat the salary, say goodbye.

rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 If the bullpen could hold a lead this could have been a sweep. But nope.
