I blame Rocco. A better manager would have given his players unbreakable bats in that inning. I mean, it's just unbelievable that he didn't use his force of will to get the ball into the outfield there. I'm sure Tony LaRussa would have scored a run there.

This'll be the 2nd game in a row that the Twins didn't grab when it was there for the taking. 

When this team inevitably falls 10 games behind Cleveland by July 4th, it'll be this kind of thing that's to blame. 

Timely hitting just doesn't exist here. On top of it, Rocco pinch hit for the guy who's hit homers in back-to-back games. Can't make it up.

Dumb of Jeffers to get thrown out at third with two outs.  Dumb to challenge that .  Then they got no challenge when they needed it.  That’s the dumb.  Then the luck.  Bux misses a line drive homer by a foot.  After we lost a game recently because of  a Polo missed homer by half an inch.  Now this inning Correa and Bux way too anxious with BL no outs.  We need better luck and better smarts.

He has solid numbers, but my real issue is that we signed zero major league relievers in free agency, and just assumed they'd be fine with what they have, when what they had wasn't as great as they thought. And yet again, here we are with holes in our bullpen early in the year, who could have seen that coming?
