HokieRif Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 For a guy with the injury history that Buck has, and for the kid gloves the organization has treated him with the last couple years, that was incredibly care-free base running.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Didn’t Byron play football? Good grief he’s always in severe pain

raindog Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 For a game we’re winning, this is one of the worst games I’ve ever seen.

HawksNest Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Maybe an unpopular opinion, but what the heck was Buxton doing? That was terrible baserunning. Hope he's ok, but dude....

mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Looked like he ran out of his way to collide
RpR Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Gordon made his BA, tolerable with that.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Edwerd makes that play.

Exactly this. And it’s an example of not all injuries being ‘accidents’. Most guys make the ‘play’ Buxton made there a million times without incident. Also why, it’s folly to think DH is going to protect him over meaningful time period.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 We've seen this before, where a player seems okay and walks off under his own power. Then we fiddle around with him for a few days off, then the IL, and before you know it the guy is missing from the lineup for quite some time.

CRF Verified Member Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 WTF is going on out there today? Are we cursed? Is somebody sticking pins in a voodoo doll with a Twins uni on?
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 I bought World Series tickets at 5-2, but then I foolishly sold them when we dropped to 6-4!

Literally NOT heads-up baseball. With his injury history he has to be going the opposite direction of the infielder.
