This refers to last night but here’s a question- when was the last time a Twins pitcher retired 23 batters in a row?

Last night?

Hoping we have another double digit K day from our starting pitching! Also pumped to see Julien getting his start today! Let's close out this series with the White Sox with a win!!

Welcome back!

BTW, Chicago is pretty nicked up too. They are without three starters among the position players (one not on IL-Moncada) and they are missing their closer.

Really? Larnach at 6 and Gordon at 4 in the lineup? I would have put Larnach at 2 or 3 with Gordon at 6 so the Sox can't bring in a LH reliever to face both him and Gordon within the 3 batter minimum.

Seriously don't understand this move. Why do Buxton and Larnach ever move in the order? Put them at the top of the order and quit overthinking it. Gordon has 7 ABs vs Giolito, and Larnach has 8. There's no way the Twins can think that sample size dictates dropping Larnach to the 6 hole. I just don't get this at all.

Excited to see Julien debut after the red-hot spring. Of course, it is a little concerning that the Twins have already dipped into the high-level prospect pool due to a string of injuries to start the year. I had hoped that Taylor, Solano, and Farmer would fill platoon or back-up type roles (as I'm sure everyone else did, as well) but they have performed pretty well so far. It's also refreshing to see prospects arrive during a strong start, rather than when the team is far out of contention in September.

Hoping for another series win!

Really good! Certainly more talented people than me up there. Impressive and entertaining show for sure.

Maybe the want to keep folk from pitching around Jeffers?

Julien gets in the lineup right away.  I like that.

Should be well rested. Played only half a game yesterday.

He had to fly back from Indianapolis though. That's a brutal 1hr 45 minute flight. Let's hope the jetlag doesn't get to him!

Was looking that up as i hadn't been paying attention neither.

Something about back tightness?

He has had back spasms over the last few days, according to the Athletic.

I don't know that one but I remember this one: 5 home runs in a row, back in the 60s.  Last Twins no-hitter?  That'd be 27 batters in a row.

Did we win yet?

I was about to say it's still a work in progress, but actually it isn't yet.

With the pace of play these days being so fast these days, I just didn't want to miss asking the question.
