I don’t know. The Sox announcers were in awe of a perfect throw and perfect relay, saying only way they get him. Still, it was dumb. Tie game, a good single scores him anyway if he’s at 2nd

The extra inning 2nd base runner play is complete baloney.  You have to earn just about everything in a baseball game or sporting event.  Baseball takes that away by putting a runner base, who didn't earn the way on, just to speed up the game.  Ridiculous.

Perhaps. You mean the runner that has no eyes in the back of his head? Conjecture from watching on video until they tell us, if they ever do. All I know for sure is what I saw at this point regarding the throw being offline. That doesn't change with a homer announcer's opinion of his own team. It was still good enough to get the speedy Vazquez, but there have been much better throws in to third. Relay was very quick, for sure.
