Danchat Verified Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Bundy got to start the 6th and Gray didn't? Weird. At least he got a quick hook.

Rik19753 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Sigh. It's going to be 4-2 Padres by the end of the inning.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Roccos logic is usually no 3rd time thru means pull him, so im asking myself ? profar was the only hitter who did damage up until then, , so why wait till he burns ya and then pull hiim ?? myself not a fan of this crazy thinking,
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Padres lickin' the chops now. They can't wait to get to Pagan.
The Mad King Verified Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Anyone else having an issue where bally suddenly jumps from the Twins game to women's beach volleyball?? Then I have to switch over to the opponents broadcast, and they all generally suck
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Came back, looked at the box score, saw that Miranda and Arraez had HRs. Cool, back to back. Rechecked the line score. So how do you score just one HR in one inning and the next guy does it the next? Had to check the play by play to discover that Arraez led off the fifth. Ell oh Ell.

From Wikipedia: After going unsigned for the 2020 season, on October 29, 2020, Beckham signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox organization.[30] Beckham spent the 2021 season with the Triple-A Charlotte Knights. He played in 45 games, hitting .279 with 11 home runs and 32 RBI's. He became a free agent following the season.
RpR Verified Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 I know what happened, SD is wearing those camoflage jerseys so all the pitcher sees is a floating bat and white pants.

Rik19753 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Just saw on the broadcast that Pagan leads all AL RPs in K/9. It is such a misleading stat. If he knew how to get outs in any other way he would have a much lower ERA.
bighat Verified Member Posted July 31, 2022 Author Posted July 31, 2022 Pagan about to load the bases here? Edit: whoop, no he gave up a hit and is likely to give the lead back in a jiffy here. Unreal this team feels they can continue to give away game after game. Make the trades already!

kydoty Verified Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Everybody in the building, including Buxton, thought that was going to be a sac fly. Except Grisham.

He signed a minor league contract w/ CWS in 2020 and became a free agent again this year.
bighat Verified Member Posted July 31, 2022 Author Posted July 31, 2022 And there goes the lead. Why was Celestino playing that right-handed batter so deep?
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Payback === we win it against Taylor Rogers, Be nice!!!!
Irishman Verified Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 With 2 men on bases Padres were able to score runs. With bases loaded Twins failed to score runs. Bummer!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 How do you spell relief? Not P-a-g-a-n. Could Bundy have done worse?
KirbyDome89 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Pagan and melting in high leverage, name a more iconic duo....

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Padres know why they didn't want him anymore.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Classic Bremer: "Popped up behind first." Celestino catches it in medium RF.
bighat Verified Member Posted July 31, 2022 Author Posted July 31, 2022 Pagan gets out of the inning with 0 earned runs and his ERA goes down to 4.75. Good job buddy, hope that's the last we see of you in a Twins uniform. Pa-GONE.
