Pilkington allowed eight hits and walked four in 4 1/3 innings. Add in two outs on the bases and the Twins reached more than they made outs.

I wasn't expecting much out of Winder with his meh starts in AAA, but he's been really good tonight. Even if he doesn't immediately rejoin the rotation, he NEEDS to be in the bullpen a few days from now simply to serve as the long man.

Okay, I’ll say it. The HP ump hasn’t missed many in the box. He’s called a few outside the zone, but every pitch in the zone has been called a strike. Usually when I complement a home plate ump for calling a good game, he immediately misses calls that hurt the Twins.
