Jeffers has had a rough night in all areas tonight. With Sanchez on the roster, there's really no reason to be starting Ryan Jeffers in back-to-back games. We've seen enough to know this shouldn't be a 50/50 split situation.

Meh. Jeffers has a higher OPS+ over the past month than Gary and obviously plays better defense. I don't really think there is much gripe to be had with how the catching duties have been handled.

Yep, his two worst starts this season have been versus the Twins.  Without the Twins, his ERA is 2.96.  Adding in the Twins, he's at 4.03.  Our guys raised a bit of a lump.  I think his next start will be against the Yankees; that would be extra sweet if he bounces back and shuts them down.
