I keep thinking of Christopher Walken when they announce this fellow.

There's a prescription for that...

...and it's more cowbell!

Great move taking out Archer, he was getting batters out and he is taken out.  Quit overmanaging this team Rocco, this is getting old.

Quick rundown on my predictions for the last part of June and how we're fairing

3 @ SEA 27-32 predict 2-1, actual 2-1

3 @ ARI 28-33 predict 2-1, actual 1-2

3 v CLE 29-27 predict 2-1

3 v COL 26-34 predict 2-1

5 @ CLE 29-27 predict 2-3

On pace to go 8-9/9-8. Arizona gave us a good chance to make some headway before Cleveland comes to town and them playing LA, but we weren't able to do that. The good news is that we can now take care of it head to head, but it may not end up being good in the end.

I think 11-6 should be the goal, with 10-7 being good, and 9-8 being okay, and a losing record being "unacceptable."

The modern baseball game is intrinsically inferior to the game of 30-60 yeas ago because there are so many instances when some one hour+ meeting that predetermined who played where when and how and who could pitch is decided without paying attention to how the actual physical game plays out. I used my own math for who was hitting what pitchers and where fielders should play as a coach three decades ago and it was both fun and successful. However, one should never lose sight of what is actually transpiring on the field and become a slave to some model that never works.

Pinball was essentially a math game and had some limited allure. Its entrance into baseball is regrettable.

Well it was absolutely pointless to pull him out of the game after 4 innings. The bullpen needed work? Lol why because they weren’t abused for a couple days for once? Nonsensical overmanaging which led to the game getting out of hand. The offense did nothing which is the real culprit, but it was totally unnecessary to pull the starter out after a whopping 4 innings. Asking 4-5 guys to be on their game is a recipe for disaster. Sometimes it works, a lot of times it doesn’t
