I certainly don't think that was a swing, and there is no shot in hell that the HP ump should be calling that a swing. There is no reason to EVER call a check/non check swing as the HP ump, and I say this as an umpire, not as a Twins fan. Drives me nuts no matter what level or team I am watching.

Played football and baseball through high school. Playing golf since 6th grade....Ran a full marathon at 38. Took up professional couch potato a few years ago. I can drink Tito's and soda like a professional too.

Dream? That sounds like a nightmare. I've seen Archer the second time through the lineup, it's frightening.

The rule is if in the judgement of the umpire the batter attempted a swing it is a strike. If he judged it to be an attempt he should call it. If not get help.

Maybe he will show something different this time around . . .  lol   I don't have high expectations.  However the less innings we can have the bullpen pitch the better.
