Would somebody go over and shake Rocco up.

You want to pull Ober in the 3rd?

Does it take an idiot to see when a pitcher has lost it? or, at least needs a talk, to brake up the momentum?

I don't want to lose the game in the third.

How about if someone just smacks him upside his head a couple times?

I really hope they let ober throw more pitches than they let smeltzer throw since he can't get anyone out. It's one of many things I despise about Rocco's pitching management.

It's a good thing games are 9 innings long then.

Who said this was a science-y thing? I didn't.

Well then don't blame us if you file a grant application and the NSF turns you down.

I would like to see the effort to try and win the game, rather than rest this guy and keep this guy, etc.  The object is to win, not to keep everyone well rested, fully fed, and a bounce in their step.

6+ from the arm barn doesn't sound like a winning formula to me

Just joining the funhouse for a bit tonight. Very nice intro. I have to ask, Diesel, did you graduate college at age 50? I can’t say I had that much wisdom even 15 years out of college. Maybe even now….

He's at 60 pitches right now...the Roc won't leave him in too much longer no matter what.

That's right.  You may have expounded on some unknown knowledge of yours.

I read the thread intro.

To be frank, to me Devin Smeltzer looks more effective than Bailey Ober. Smeltzer's heater is a couple ticks slower, but his command Thursday was very good, where Ober today seems to be scattering pitches all over the place.

WOW! Rocco pulls Ober with 60 pitches after 3, but he leaves the Doof in last night to implode on us.

From almost knocking out the opponent’s starter in the first inning to just about surrendering the lead. All in 3.5 short innings

This is how we baseball.

9 hitter can’t get the bunt down. No worries we’ll spike one in the dirt and then give up the tying hit.
