Megill got the GDPs in his outing. Twins aren't out of the woods yet, but they're in a lot better position than they were in the top of the fourth.

Today is Mrs Chiefs birthday. She woke me up this morning, and told me "Honey, I had the most wonderful dream last night! I dreamed of a big diamond necklace. What do you think that means?" 

 

"Well dear," I said, " I guess you'll just have to wait until later to find out!"

 

I slipped off to the mall this afternoon and got her a little something I think she's been hinting at. Yup. I'm pretty pleased with myself over this!

 

Dont tell her, but Just between us kids...I went to Barnes and Noble and got her a first edition book "The Meaning of Dreams."

Joe smith is 38 years old and has now appeared in 20 of the twins 45 games. Something to watch

I started a movie when it was top of the 2nd... just finished and now it's the top of 7th. Yeesh, guys, can't we speed this up a bit?

Ober back to the IL would be a big bummer if it's true his velo was down. We can't keep taxing the bullpen like this. Good to see Megill holding up. Maybe send out Thiebar for the #8 and #9 hitters, then have Duran face the rest.
