Five of the six hardest hit balls of the game and I think four of them resulted in outs.

So? Good defensive placement is part of the game. And so is poor placement (sano). That’s like saying they made harder tackles. Meaningless. Sorry I’m being rude. Just angry

****, this whole game has been plays of inches going the opposite way.

The amount of two strike pitches the Twins couldn't execute in this series has been something else.

We'll always have the top of the 1st inning in 2017 wild card game as bragging rights over the Yankees!

Honestly, that was our chance to break the curse. Kill the monkey. Slay the dragon. Then Ervin $%% the bed.

2009 the Yankees celebrated at the Dome.

2010 the Twins actually had home field advantage, so the game 3 clincher was back in Yankee Stadium.

I forgot about 10

Home Run record!

Every batter with the exception of Arraez has looked brutal this series

Polanco and Arreaz are not intimidated by the Yankees. Kepler and Garver are hurt. Cruz seems to have hit a wall. Eddie is Eddie.

Joining up late today.

Tear gas near our school last night, most subway stops, including ours, closed. Traffic at a standstill all around the city. Primary section cancelled, lots of extra duties today.

Our base-ball club are not on the plus side, (yet), but by golly it's good to still be in the game in the 7th.

Go Twins.

Some bad luck, tonight, yes, and terrible with RISP. But, yet again, our poor defense leads to a run and the Yankees defense has been STELLAR all series, and has saved god knows how many runs.

Target Field is so dead. Just depressing.

That's not how baseball works a significant percentage of the time, unfortunately.

There's a reason the best team in baseball loses to the worst team roughly one-third of the time.

Umpires?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Good defensive placement isn't what made that Judge catch or any number of other balls in play. Or when Rosario missed a homer by a foot while the Yankees scrape one over the wall by six inches.

Baseball is a hugely luck-based sport. The best team wins most of the time, but not all the time, not even close.

It's just a bad night for the Twins that has come at the worst possible time.

But also, I'm mad, just like you. But not about tonight, this is just how baseball works.

But I'm furious about games one and two.

Kepler 0-9

Dagger

pretty easy to see Keplers shoulder injury has sapped him of any power. None of his AB's go very far or very hard. He and Garver have been invisible. Along with, well everyone pretty much not named Arraez. since Twins got their 4th run in game one, they have scored a grand total of 2, and both of them came when the game was out of reach.

And that's what made it so astounding the Twins swept the Orioles this year.

I’ll be a lot happier when this crap is over. Goodbye, TwinsDaily. I’ll finish watching this and then I’m done with baseball for awhile. I’ll maybe check in if something happens in the off-season.

But in what way are the Twins outplaying them? Same amount of hits, less runs, worse performance with RISP

Edit: Twins also have more errors and less extra base hits

Well, now we're very glad you're ok, and also a little self-conscious about how put out we are about a baseball game.

Seriously, keep posting so we know you're ok.

Dunno, maybe hitting the ball over 100mph a half dozen times and having nothing to show for it affects everything you just mentioned.

You're looking at results, I'm looking at process.

Rocco and the gang are privy to how the injured guys are doing, but I seriously think we'd have gotten more out of Wade this series than Kep, sad to say.

2nd Inning, Sorry but we CHOKED, No excuse, Choked

2nd inning was the game. 3 terrible AB's by Sano, Gonzo and Cave nailed the coffin...you just can't let that happen in a game so important. And they never recovered. (at least probably not)
