I haven't been tracking but Severino's first strike percentage has to be low. 

At one point, a graphic was flashed showing 4 of 14 first pitch strikes.

Again, Twins making a pitcher look like Sandy Kofax. Sorry, but Severino is an average pitcher.

 

They've allowed him to throw his secondary pitches more often. That slider and change do nothing if they were able to hit his fastball early.

I think that the Yankees have been more confident and have played looser than the Twins during this entire series. Hopefully, our young players can learn from this.

This has been beyond infuriating, watching our hitters flail against these guys after the season we had. Severino is a hittable pitcher. Odo has done a great job. Offense and defense both let him down.

Well, we're done with Severino... The more pitchers Boone trots out there, the more likelihood one will not be on his game... 

We need just one of them to mess up.

Of sports? Entertainment man. They were entertaining in a lot of ways over the summer, but the finale is reaching Lost and Dexter level.

This is extremely incorrect. Look at his numbers the last two years. 

 

If we're going to say Severino is a great pitcher than Odorizzi is in the conversation too over his career. Severino pitches with a lineup that gets him a ton of runs and the pinstripe magic. He's good, but not great. Is Aaron Hicks a great player even though he's put up good numbers the last two years with the Yankees?

another k on a 3-2 pitch. This is ridiculous, honestly. And I hope Sano has a 2 out 9th inning 3 run HR up his sleeve because he has been a total failure this playoff. All the bad habits have returned.

 

Jake is pitching real well and has nothing to show for it except the air being sucked out of Target Field. they said the percentage of scoring at least one run with sacks loaded and no outs is 85%. Our guys are gripping the bats too tight. they are in full choke mode.

 

anyone feel they have a rally in them? Just asking.There is still time to reverse this miserable direction Twins are in.

Pretty much a guarantee he gets a QO, but no guarantee he's back, IYAM.
