THATS why Sano matters.  He is a BIG Time HR threat, and he isn't expensive yet.  I will take the SO's, when he can change the game with one swing that easily.  Needs to work on outside slider, however, but there is time.

So after that great double to tie the game, now we see the strikeout machine himself up with a chance to finally do something productive this week. Sano NEEDS to make contact this time...and he really needs to swing at a pitch down the middle, rather than taking it and then whiffing on low and outside junk.

 

So, come on Sano......

Something about playing on the road this season that agrees with this team. Don't know why they can't get it done at home.Now we look at how the bullpen has kept the Twins in this game, allowing them to comeback. We need two more good innings and this will be quite a day!!!

Apparently his thumb is still not healed and clearly it is affecting his hitting because he is mired in a real bad slump. His 'd' is still good though.

Therefore we should march through the playoffs, as we will never have home field "advantage."

If we win our division series and the wild card team wins the other one we'll have home field.

So where are we?  Yankees # 285 and Twins now # 284?  And with an extra game up our sleave?
