Eureka, we got a Dyson!

Such a weird deadline for San Fran. Sent us Dyson, trader Pomeranz to the Brewers, Melancon to the Braves. Then they picked up Gennett from the Reds. Kept Bumgarner and Smith. Weird. Happy that weird got us a new vacuum cleaner though.

Stray thought that now popped into my mind. It was repeatedly reported that the Tigers were asking the Nationals for Carter Kieboom for Shane Greene. The Nationals then signed Hudson, Elias and uh, someone else? 

 

Nearly immediately after the Nationals were done with their signings, the Tigers gave him to the Braves for two very marginal prospects?

 

Man, the talent evaluation across the league must crazy diverse, and just when I thought the teams were all starting to become carbon copies of each other.

Not sure which guy with options gets sent down. If the Twins activate Cron when he's eligible, they will probably have to option another. I'd like to see if Thorpe can be an effective multi-inning lefty in the 'pen.
