Game Thread: Twins @ Marlins DEADLINE EDITION 7/31 @ 7:10 PM CST

[diehardtwinsfan]

Hey! Where'd you all go?

bouncing between the GT, the G, and packing for a flight home.

[Nine of twelve]

Seen people argue that if the Twins break the homerun record that it won't be legit because of the "juiced" balls. Well all the other teams are playing with the same balls, right? Twins just do it better than everyone else.

A broken record would be properly attributed in part to juiced baseballs, but the fact that the Twins have hit 10% more home runs than the team with the second most can be properly attributed completely to Twins batters.

I know coaches aren't worth WAR... but do you think Rowson and Johnson are worth some WAR?

Hey, if Houston loses, we get closer to the #1 seed in the AL...

[Blake]

Plesac has given up 4 runs in 5 innings of work. Not a good sign.

Okay, not good for Cleveland, good for the Twins.

I'll take "comment that didn't age well for $1,000, Alex."

[diehardtwinsfan]

81 pitches through 7. Berrios be like "what pen?"

[ashbury]

Does that make that game a no lose situation?

As long as we don't lose.

Not sure I'd want that combo on a tortilla.

[diehardtwinsfan]

Houston has runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs.
