gil4 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 While Parker isn’t a good pitcher, at least he’s irritating to watch pitch. Yeah, but he mitigates that by being slow.If his last name began with an M he'd be gone by now.

tvagle Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 I have to do the Game Thread opener tomorrow. Any topics you want covered? I'm thinking of playing a drinking game but since this is a family web site I'm reluctant. May I suggest:1. Twins look to sweep the Yankees and other assorted makeup tipsb. Jose and Odorizzi's guide to mani-Cure-ing blistersIV. Twin attempt to Sear the Yanks like a Rib-Eye
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Welp, probably have to warm Rogers up now, and quickly.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Au contraire, mon frere... I thought "the Good Kirkland" was hilarious. That was Chief... But tread lightly... Remember that Chief doesn't tell jokes.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Really Rocco?????????????????????????
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Where would this rank on the all time worst losses list
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Parker can blow this as well as anyone.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Kepler would have had that one. I want our regular outfield back.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Parker is a joy to watch!
David HK Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 For God's sake- Parker. And Gonzalez... who knows.
IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Game will be tied momentarily. AARGH! What is Parker doing out there??
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Parker is getting every questionable strike call too, what a bum.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 I guess one can, as Bremer did, refer to Parker as "reliable" in that Parker is reliable when it comes to letting teams back into games.
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 To think we could have already made a trade or twoTrade season seems to be moving as slowly as the free agent season
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 I can't believe Parker is still in this game.
gil4 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 I think I'd rather see Stewart at this point. He might not pitch any better, but at least he knows how to go to the set position.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 By Dick’s logic, Parker has instantly become the Twins least reliable reliever. It was a good run for him.

jz7233 Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Parker is like a scared minor leaguer in front of Yankees batters.
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Put Rogers in this is a jokeRogers did not look good to me last night.
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Kepler would have had that one. I want our regular outfield back.Marwin has made a lot of nice defensive plays in the outfield too.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 If his last name began with an M he'd be gone by now.He should change his name to Marker!
Bandit34 Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 I'm just really thankful that Cleveland totally blew their game. It's tough to take 2 in a row against the Yankees.
snotboogie Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 So Mrs Chief and I just finished a nice, late dinner. RIbeyes from the grill, with some summer squash also grilled, and baked pototos. And a nice bottle of a red blend from this fantastic little wine shop I discovered. Cos-co, or cost-co or something like that. THey also sell gas, which is handy. homemade cheesecake for desert.I work at that little shop! Just tuning into the game. My sister and her family from GA are here and we entertained. Another sister with a hearing impairment and can't have noise like Twins games on in the background if she wants to participate in our conversation. I finally got rid of the both of them and my other sister. (Not really got rid of them. We had a good time.) What happened? (Off topic, earlier, I actually read through the whole game thread from yesterday. I was happy to see people were having a rollicking good time again. Don't have time now to read all 600 some posts on this thread. What happened?)
