TwinsCD Verified Member Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Yep, that's a balk. He's going toward the plate. Not even freakin close.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Awful pickoff move for a lefty, and should be stepping more to first (looks like balk to me)
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Took ya long enough to call it, Blue!
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Is he arguing about a play that happened last month with this crew, or something?
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Is he arguing about a play that happened last month with this crew, or something? I think he was asking how that one was any different from the others, which is a fair question.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Stop right there, because Wings always lead! Do those wings come with GarvSauce? That HR did.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Ronny Rodriguez made a very nice catch there.
FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 So i guess Stewart is this series' Lindor??
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 In case you’re just joining us, Gardy was ejected. I know, I know.....
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 ...and suddenly Pineda gets 6 outs in 12 pitches. OK!
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Gonzales should never play in the outfield.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 So has there been a play Cron hasn't made this year?
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Gonzales should never play in the outfield. Not sure what you're talking about, Gonzalez was one of the most highly rated LFs in baseball last season. He doesn't have great range but he's only playing corner outfield.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Schoop's ABs with RISP tonite haven't been the greatest.
bighat Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Schoop's ABs with RISP tonite haven't been the greatest. Schoop's ABs since he hit that HR in Tampa have been absolutely awful. He's down 0-2 almost every time. Dude needs a few games watching from the bench. Put in Astudillo or Adrianza, anyone who can at least make contact.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Schoop's ABs with RISP tonite haven't been the greatest.Schoop hasn't looked good for a few days now. I wonder if Gonzalez should start getting some more starts at 2B. Adrianza's been better at the plate as well.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Are we sure that the name isn't pronounced Pin - nada, as in nada? I'm disenchanted with our s-l-o-w and ineffective #5 starter. Much more fun to watch Smeltzer.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 And on the Red Wing front, they are up 19-4 in the 8th ... without a single homerun!
HawksNest Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Pineda is getting ahead of these hitters with the fastball and then just hanging sliders on 0-2, 1-2, 2-2 counts...he has no "finishing" pitch. He should just be out there challenging them with the fastball.
