ashbury Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 And now we see why Mr. Buxton has so few steals. Why wait to go to second. The Official Scorer needs a Buxton option to mark a single-and-steal.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 The guy on first? He gets a close up view, yes. The Doppler shift of the cleat noise and the pull of the vacuum he leaves in his wake are the other big giveaways.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 It's nice to see Marwin having a great game offensively. He's looking like he'll be worth the investment after a pretty bad April. Now, who pitches the 9th?Sano!
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Only Buxton could have thrown Buxton out on that fly ball.He has to WANT to, though.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Checked out a streaming site to see what the Tigers TV guys would say about Buxton's double. Turns out Jack Morris is doing tonight's game for them.Traitor!
Shaitan Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 whos getting the 9th ?Another hit and I'm not sure it matters.

Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 If Parker's going out there Twins need at least 4 more runs here Well there's one of 'em.I'm hoping the conditions are met to allow Parker to pitch.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Sano! Well, he has already had Tommy John surgery, so he's just like most pitching prospects already.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 What i miss? I am bad at following things apparently.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Traitor!Me or Jack?I know, I know...yes.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Intentional Walk to Marwin? That's bold.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 I just tuned in. Baseball is such a weird game. Gonzalez 4/4, but with 0 runs scored. Arguably the best individual performance but...barely affecting the overall score (1 RBI, I see).until now
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 All 30? Wow! Plus 13 that are closed. Early on, I was fortunate enough to get to some of the tougher ones on my employer's dime when I had work conferences to attend. Then, 15 years ago this spring, my wife didn't nip the idea in the bud when I figured out that my 11-year-old son and I could go to Cleveland-Philadelphia-Mets-Off day-Red Sox-Expos-Blue Jays-Tigers on consecutive nights. (Then we stopped back home to pick up my wife and other son and went to Twins-Royals-Cardinals, though those were all repeats for me.) Along the way, we managed to also hit four Halls of Fame -- football, baseball, basketball, and hockey -- plus the really outstanding Negro League Baseball Museum in Kansas City. Once I got through that trip, I only had another 10 or so left, so I planned some strategic vacations. I finished off the Dodgers-Angels-Padres trio over spring break a couple years ago. SunTrust in Atlanta is the only one that opened after I had gotten to all 30, but I was able to get back there as well. What may be more impressive is that my wife has been to 23 of the current parks as well (I think). A couple years ago, I offered my one-paragraph summaries here: http://twinsdaily.com/topic/18116-thoughts-on-42-ballparks/

70charger Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 That was a bad at-bat. I think he psyched himself out there.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 until nowHe's batting .800 tonight. But it's an EMPTY .800. / obligatory
