glunn Community Moderator Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Not a great lead by Buxton there.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Buxton's streak comes to an end. As long as the Twins win streak continues, we'll live with that. Great throw, absolutely perfectly executed by the catcher.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Jorge is the man today! And most other days, too!
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Woooooooo Hip Hip Jorge!!!!!
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Not a great lead by Buxton there. Yeah, it was a mediocre attempt and yet it still took a perfect throw by a plus arm. And Polanco goes deep, so at least BB's CS doesn't affect the game as much.
wavedog Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Yes, Polanco! Way to get a couple runs back. Wow just snuck over the fence and wide of Redding’s glove
twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 The Twins lineup is mean! Like Grizzly Bear mean!
drock2190 Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 The way Reddick is playing tonight he must have Polanco on his fantasy team.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Yes, Polanco! Way to get a couple runs back. Wow just snuck over the fence and wide of Redding’s gloveI think Reddick should have caught that, and am glad he did not.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Thank you Mr. Reddick. He's been ereddick all night.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Can the rest of the bullpen (sans Rogers) hold this together? Not holding my breath ...
TNTwinsFan Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Code for "They tell me we're not pitching to contact any more, and our guys don't throw hard"Except Dick was pointing out that Odorizzi was consistently hitting 93-94 with his FB...Bert needs to retire from broadcasting.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 The way Reddick is playing tonight he must have Polanco on his fantasy team.Good one.
wavedog Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Really I get autocorrected on Reddick?
Linus Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 First game back after vacation. God I miss Morneau.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Rocco tempting fate by throwing Mejia out there again.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 It's sad that a 4 run lead doesn't feel safe in the 8th inning.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 I’d really like to see Beto close this one out!
twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Mean Eddie with the nice snag in LF!
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Can the rest of the bullpen (sans Rogers) hold this together? Not holding my breath ...The bright side is that the non-Rogers guys are getting a chance to pitch in medium leverage situations. In the long run the Twins can hopefully find one or two relievers who can be clutch.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Rocco tempting fate by throwing Mejia out there again.Four run lead and he needs to learn to be clutch.
Tovar12 Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Double-Play c’monWe gotta be last in the majors in turning them, right? I can't remember seeing one in a long time.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Double-Play c’monThe strikeout was almost as nice. Good for Mejia's confidence.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Really I get autocorrected on Reddick? That's Reddickulous. Then again, when I asked my phone for 'Fangraphs Reddick' I got a recipe for Balsamic Radicchio. I really mead to enunciate butter.
