Game Thread Twins @ Astros, 7:10pm CDT 4/22/2019 ad

[Nine of twelve]

Yeah! Too bad about that darn DP.

[nicksaviking]

This offense is starting to grow on me.

[VATwinsFan]

CRON the Batbarian!!!!

[twinssporto]

Goodgolly this lineup is getting frightening even with Castro (righty on the mound)! I wonder, is Odo particularly benefited by Castro's admittedly better backstop skills?

Wish Garver was catching tonight.

[Brock Beauchamp]

So far so good on the Cron and Schoop signings.

So far so good on the Cron and Schoop signings.

They are both great pickups.  I was most excited about Schoop.  If he gets close to his 2017 stats he will be a huge bargain for one year.  Then you might have to consider extending him....

[Don Walcott]

Buxton with a record for putouts!

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

CaSTrO!

[Nine of twelve]

Wait, wut?

[wabene]

Papa Jack Castro

[Don Walcott]

Castro!! No need for Mitch today!

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Buxton with a record for putouts!

The meat of the Houston order with some long fly balls, but Castro’s outdistances them all

[twinssporto]

Wish Garver was catching tonight.

I'll just shut my mouth and go sit in a corner now.

Nice work Castro!  Made me eat my words.

[wabene]

Ole crazy eyes

[FlauerPauer]

Gonna need all the runs we can get today.

[MMMordabito]

Wow ... That slide had a lot going on

[twinssporto]

Nice work Castro!  Made me eat my words.

Someone let me know when my "timeout" is over so I can post something again.

[FlauerPauer]

Is this Big Strong Matthew LeCroy out there?

[MMMordabito]

Tough that Odorizzi isn't getting the top of the zone

[FlauerPauer]

Not good for Jake when he doesn't get those pitches.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Cron saves the day again

[bighat]

Electronic strike zone. Now, already.

I was really hoping that this would be the final post of the entire thread until the thread gets locked tomorrow sometime

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Second time through the odor for Odor

*see what I did there

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Will be nice if he can keep the Stros in check a little longer

Either way, I’m not anticipating a long outing for him.

[FlauerPauer]

Nice positioning there.

Give us at least 5 innings, Jake.

[MMMordabito]

Some loud outs tonight

[Nine of twelve]

Angel Hernandez with yet another incorrect ruling.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Angel Hernandez with yet another incorrect ruling.

Agreed! Didn’t affect the play, fortunately

(Altuve should have been rung up on a check swing, grounded out anyway)

[MMMordabito]

Really, Blyleven? ... Time to go ... Passed time, really

(Blyleven sounded like a total noob asking about OPS)
